The GEN Shop ships ice-cold meat to California and the West (OR, WA, NV, AZ, UT, NM) only. Shelf-stable pantry items ship Ground nationwide. GEN TO-GO is pickup or local delivery from a GEN Korean BBQ restaurant. Those are different carts and different rules.

Shop (shipping)

Meats and other ice-cold items ship with ice packs, not dry ice, to California and the West (OR, WA, NV, AZ, UT, NM) only. Ice-cold shipping to the rest of the US is not available yet.
Orders placed Monday–Thursday by 12pm PT leave the warehouse the same day when that service is available for the zip code. Friday–Sunday orders ship the next warehouse day.
Delivery speed (ground, 2-day, etc.) depends on the product and the zip code entered on the site. The product page and cart show the option that applies. We do not promise a single transit time for every zip code.
Rates by zone: Pantry ships Ground: CA $5.95, free at $49+; West (OR, WA, NV, AZ, UT, NM) $8.95, free at $69+; rest of US $16.95, free at $99+; Hawaii and Alaska $12.99, not eligible for free shipping. Ice-cold ships to CA and the West only: CA $39.95, West $49.95, both free at $149+.
Some pantry, snack, sauce, and drink items may ship without ice packs when they do not need them.
Alcohol (GENJU) never ships. It is available for in-store pickup or same-day local delivery only (21+, valid ID required at pickup/delivery).

GEN TO-GO (restaurants)

Pickup and local delivery are available when a restaurant can fulfill the order.
Same-day restaurant orders can be placed anytime that restaurant is open. There is no 2pm or 3pm cutoff on the site.
Local delivery is from the restaurant you choose. Pickup can be farther than the delivery radius.
Delivery time and fee show when that restaurant can fulfill your order.

Problems with an order

Report damaged, warm, missing, or wrong items within 48 hours of delivery to hello@thegenshop.com.
Food products cannot be returned.
If we issue a refund, it posts in 5–7 business days.
