ORDERS

I never received my order.
We're sorry to hear that! First, double-check the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email. If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received anything, please check around your property and with neighbors. If you still can't locate it, contact us at shop@genkoreanbbq.com within 7 days of the delivery date and we'll make it right.

My order arrived damaged.
We're so sorry! Please take photos of the damaged packaging and products, then email them to shop@genkoreanbbq.com within 48 hours of delivery. We'll send a replacement or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer.

I'm missing items from my order.
Please check your order confirmation to make sure all items were included in the same shipment — some orders may ship in multiple packages. If items are still missing, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and we'll resolve it promptly.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Orders are processed quickly to ensure freshness. If you need to make a change, contact us immediately at shop@genkoreanbbq.com. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has been picked or packed, but we'll always try our best.

What is your return policy?
Because our products are food items, we generally do not accept returns. However, if something arrived damaged, spoiled, or incorrect, we will always make it right. Merchandise (non-food items) may be returned within 30 days of delivery in original, unopened condition. Please contact us to initiate a return.

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), as well as Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal.

Why is my credit card being declined?
This can happen for a few reasons — a billing address mismatch, an expired card, or a temporary hold from your bank. Please double-check your card details and billing address. If the issue persists, try a different payment method or contact your bank. You're also welcome to reach out to us for help.

Do you offer gift cards?
Yes! GEN Shop gift cards are available for purchase on our site and can be used at checkout on any order. They make a great gift for any Korean BBQ lover.
SHIPPING

What is your shipping policy?
We ship orders Monday through Friday. Orders placed before 12pm PT on a business day typically ship the same day. Orders placed after the cutoff or on weekends ship the next business day. You'll receive a tracking email as soon as your order is on its way.

Do you ship internationally?
At this time, we ship within the contiguous United States only. We're working on expanding — stay tuned for updates!

What shipping carriers do you use?
We ship via UPS and USPS depending on your location and the products ordered. Expedited options are available at checkout.

How long will it take to get my order?
Standard shipping typically takes 3–7 business days. Expedited options (2-day and overnight) are available at checkout for an additional fee. Delivery times may vary during peak seasons or due to carrier delays.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?
Please contact us immediately at shop@genkoreanbbq.com if you need to update your address. We can make changes before an order ships, but cannot redirect packages once they are in transit.

My package says it's being returned to sender. What do I do?
This usually happens due to an incorrect address or a failed delivery attempt. Please contact us right away with your order number. Once the package is returned to us, we can reship it to a corrected address (additional shipping fees may apply) or issue a refund for the product cost.

Are your products shelf stable? Do I need to refrigerate them?
Most of our pantry products — including sauces and marinades — are shelf stable and do not require refrigeration until opened. Once opened, store in the refrigerator and use within the timeframe noted on the label. Check individual product pages for specific storage guidance.

Are your products vegan?
Some of our products are vegan-friendly, while others contain animal-based ingredients such as fish sauce or sesame. Vegan products are clearly labeled on our site. If you have specific questions, check the ingredient list on the product page or contact us.

Are your products gluten free?
Several of our products are gluten free, but not all. Products that are gluten free are labeled as such. Always review the ingredient and allergen information on the product page, as formulations may vary.

Do your products contain MSG?
We believe in honest, flavorful food. Some of our products may contain MSG or naturally occurring glutamates. Full ingredient lists are available on every product page so you can make an informed choice.

Are there any allergens I should know about?
Our products may contain or be made in facilities that also process soy, wheat, sesame, shellfish, and other common allergens. All allergens are listed on each product page and on physical packaging. If you have a severe allergy, please review labels carefully before purchasing.
